The Camden County Library System welcomes the donation of used books, CDs,
books on tape, videos and DVDs. Items that are not needed for the
Library collection are earmarked for resale. The proceeds from book sales are used for the
purchase of new materials, equipment, cultural programs and special
projects for the benefit of the patrons of the Library System.
While the library is happy to receive unrestricted gifts, we have no
need for the following items, which do not sell at library book sales:
-
Books that are old, musty,
dirty, moldy or smelly or that have yellow, brittle, torn,
scribbled, or missing pages.
-
Textbooks - older than10 years
-
Computer software - more than
five years old
-
Magazines
-
Reader's Digest Condensed Books
Donations are accepted at all branches, but the Voorhees branch is
the only one with a loading dock to accept large donations. If
you have a number of items to donate, please call ahead to make
arrangements.
