Teen Advisory Board

Grades 5 and up

TAB is made up of Tweens/Teens who discover the services, programs and materials that our Library has to offer. Plan and promote exciting programs, participate in special community service projects, attend special outings and discuss books, movies, music and web sites. Membership looks great on resumes and college applications.  Refreshments are served at every meeting!

Beach Party Library Lock-In

Grades 5 and up

Saturday Evening, June 7, 7 - 11 p.m.

Games, food, frozen drinks, limbo dancing and more at our special after-hours party!  Registration and permission slip a must!

Guitar Hero for Teens

Enjoy a night of pure fun with Guitar Hero. Let's see who plays the guitar the best. If you have a guitar for the PS2 feel free to bring it. Bring a friend for a night of fun and light refreshments.

Butterfly Days, Moth Nights

Grades 4 - 6

Wednesday, July 2 , 2:30 p.m.

The Rancocas Nature Center presents a program about butterflies and moths. Learn through hands on observation the roles they play. Play a game of bat and moth - hopefully you won't get eaten.

Movie Matinee Madness

Grades 4 - 6

Wednesday, July 16, 2:30 p.m.

Bring your friends to watch “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” (rated PG). An inventor father mistakenly shrinks his children. Join the kids' adventures as they journey across their own backyard to return to their previous height. Popcorn and soda served.

Tie-Dye Tee Party

Grades K - 6

Monday, July 22, 3 p.m.

Bring a tee shirt to the library for a Tie-Dye Tee Party. Limit 20.

Henna Tattooing for Teens

Grades 7 and up

Tuesday, July 29, 7 - 8 p.m.

Enjoy a night of henna tattooing done by Shyamoli. Learn how henna tattooing is used in India while listening to Indian music and enjoying Indian treats. Parental permission necessary.

Mystery Movie Matinee Madness

Wouldn’t you like to be a part of the fun?  We are happily preparing for our upcoming “Project Library” fashion show. Our models will be from the Fashionista, American Girl Sewing and Crochet groups.
